HSE Professional
Jolomi is an occupational health, safety and environment (HSE) professional with over twenty years of extensive experience in the telecommunications infrastructure industry, and integrated waste management solutions for the Oil & Gas industry.
In her current role, she establishes, maintains and monitors the HSE Management Systems, and the governance framework for their operating markets in several African countries, the Middle East and South America. she also report on the annual Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) performance to investors.
Her key areas of specialisation and accomplishments include:
- Established platforms for reporting the organisation’s Group-wide HSE performance using key indicators to analyse trends, provide insights and predict future outcomes.
- Developed HSE documentation and templates for policies, procedures and manuals in compliance with respective ISO management systems standards.
- Incident management process – reporting, recording, investigation, root cause analysis, closeouts, and sharing lessons learnt from incidents.
- Road, Fleet and driver safety management and monitoring programmes.
- Led the achievement of certification for ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard for my organisation.
She is involved in a number of coaching and mentoring programmes, collaborating with subject matters experts (SMEs) in building competency for current and next generation of HSE professionals.
