Dr Ulrike Bollman

Ulrike Bollmann is responsible for International Cooperation at the Institute for Work and Health (IAG) of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV). After studying education and philosophy, she conducted research in the field of schools and further education and developed curricula for various professions. In 1999, she began her work in the IAG of the DGUV. From 2002 to 2004 she was a national seconded expert at the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) in Spain.

Since 2005, Ulrike has been the founder and coordinator of the European Network Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health (ENETOSH). She organized several international strategy conferences, conducted some empirical studies recently on the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 into Higher education. In 2001 she published a book on safety and health competence. In 2022 an EU-OSHA Report on the promotion of physical health in schools is in print.

Ulrike is a member of the Editorial Board of Safety Science, a member of the Training and Advisory Council of OSHAfrica, a member of the Advisory Group of the OSHDigit Erasmus+ project, and a member of the Steering Group of the EU-OSHA Healthy Workplaces campaign.
